Happy Wednesday! A ton has been happening recently, with season finales happening one after another. Just last night was the Dancing with the Stars finale, where Hines Ward emerged triumphant. Did you catch last night’s DWTS? If you didn’t, you’ve probably heard by now that Hines Ward won. The happy winner went on Good Morning America today to discuss the victory, where the NFL star explained, “When I signed up, I’d never danced in my whole life… I was so scared. I didn’t even go to my prom.” It was a really close race between Hines Ward, Kirstie Alley, and Chelsea Kane. Hines Ward admitted this to the GMA crew, saying, “This competition was so close throughout the whole season that we knew it was going to come down to the fans’ vote… Steeler Nation and all the fans were just great.” Did you think Hines Ward deserved to win DWTS? Were you hoping for someone else to win?
Last night’s American Idol was also a must-watch, with Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina singing their hearts out in the hopes of being crowned the next American Idol. But today’s news is focused on what major artists are rumored to be performing on the American Idol finale…according to the Hollywood Reporter, Lady Gaga AND Beyonce will be performing! That sounds almost too good to be true, but with both Gaga and Beyonce promoting their albums, it is a possibility! Both Lady Gaga and Beyonce mentored during this season of American Idol… what better finale could you hope for?
In other news, socialite and reality TV star Kim Kardashian is now engaged! Kim’s beau of six months, Kris Humphries proposed to Kim in her home. Rose petals were involved. And the ring? An incredible 20.5 carat Lorrain Schwartz diamond engagement ring! I’m pretty sure Kim didn’t hafta think twice about saying “yes” once she saw that sparkler! Kardashian told People Magazine, “”I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.” The engagement officially took place on May 18th, but it was kept secret until now. Khloe Kardashian was ecstatic about being able to spill her feelings, tweeting, “I can’t believe I was able to keep this a secret but now I can scream all I want about it!
